Quite possibly my favorite movie of all time. I never stop laughing. However there is a scene, when we first meet artie fufkin, polymer records, where a bell boy enters the hotel and says "Ohhhh civilization Thank God"
I love this scene and laugh at that every time, however does it mean or refer to anything? Or is it just another random thing that makes this movie classic
I think it's just a reference to life on the road and how motels, someone's sofa, and living out of a van or tour bus can be considered roughing it while staying in a 4 star hotel is civilization. In other words they are pampered little divas who expect to be treated like stars.
