How to protect a free standing TV from theft?
Hi everyone.
There's been a rash of crime on my street and I want to make sure my stuff is secure! Of course we have other "whole home" protections, but I want to know how I can lock down my TV in case someone does get in.
It's a free standing TV. Not attached to the wall and Sitting on a small TV console. Are there any locks or systems to tie down the TV to the console? Or something else?
All serious ideas on anti theft devices appreciated. Moving probably isn't an option.
Some TVs, especially flat-panels, have a Kensington lock slot (very common on computers) which allows you to connect a computer cable lock to it.
