French Country
How to refer to a country in French?

I have to give a presentation in French tomorrow. In my presentation, I'll need to refer to the country Cuba. Do I say "Cuba" or "la Cuba" when talking about the country? For example, should I say:

"Si tu habites dans Cuba..." or "Si tu habites dans la Cuba..." ?

For one, you don't use the preposition "dans" when talking about being in a country. For feminine countries, you use "en;" for masculine ones, you use "au."

So you'd say, "en Cuba."

Europe is a country and everyone speaks french there
