Does anyone have a really good way to convince cats they aren't welcome in your yard?
We have a small pond in our backyard. There are fish and at least one frog living there. There are also about half a dozen cats who regularly check out the pond, trying to figure out how to get the fish. I thought of "shooting" them with paint or colored water so their owners would realize they were treading in unwanted areas, but my husband thinks it might be illegal. I don't want to hurt the cats, but I want the fish to live. Cat lovers, don't bother. I have a cat, too, so I don't hate them, but I keep mine inside.
get a product called shake away. this is freeze dried coyote urine. cats definitely dont like this stuff. its not water soluable and is found at www.bird-x.com. some times you can find at bigger gardenhardware stores. ive put this down for my customers for skunks and all have reported the fact tht the cats dont come round any more
