Is it a good idea to use fine grit sandpaper on my Rubik's Cube?
After I oiled my cube with silicon oil, it still doesnt turn very will. Would sanding down some rough edges help?
I've personally sanded it down before I added the lube, not after. I'm not exactly sure on the effects of sanding it down right now, it might simply lose some of the silicon, it might not.
General rule of thumb, play with it for 2 weeks, if its still kinda stiff, add another week. Then sand it down for anything extraneous, nothing too much, then lubricate every month or 2, depending on usage.
