Is it possible that I am continually making my lips raw?
My lips are always extremely dry. I am always trying some new type of way to exfoliate my dry lips. I have used a toothbrush, products that have been recommended, but what I normally do is everyday in the shower, I wipe my lips with a wet towel. Usually, skin comes off my lips. I then try to remember to moisturize my lips.
When I get home at night or wake up the next morning, my lips are always chapped and flaky again...Am I doing this too much? What are some good products to use to keep my lips moisturized so this doesn't happen. Mary Kay satin lips does not work and Carmex only makes my lips peel more. Any other suggestions?
don't even rub your lips like that anymore! you have to get out of the habit of doing that. if this only happens in the winter then it happens to everyone but if this happens to you all the time then you have to use Vaseline. it is a great product that is simple and has no flavors and it will moisturize your lips and make them feel healthy. if this continues to keep on happening i will tell your mom or dad and see if they can call anyone to help you out with that problem. try Vaseline and not rubbing your lips on the towel after you take a shower and put Vaseline on after the shower so the moisture can sit on the lips and moisturize them. hope that this will help you and good luck!
