Is a heavy period with large clots normal your first period after having a baby?
I had my baby 3 months ago and just got my first period since. It has been VERY heavy, and I have also had large clots. Is this a normal occurance after having a child or should I be concerned?
Yes, that can e normal as your body tries to get back on track after having a baby
You should contact your Dr if bleeding is so heavy that you are soaking a tampon or pad in less than an hour or if you pass clots larger than your palm. (This part goes for any period not just the first one after a baby)
