What is the name of the mountain with the rock cliff face just south east of Helen, Georgia.?
What are the names of the trails that go up it?
I believe you're looking at Mt. Yonah, as the previous poster stated. It IS occasionally used by the Army Rangers, but it doesn't appear to be a big conflict, since it's part of a national forest. You can even hike up to the Army campground. This mountain's allure is mostly Rock Climbing, though.
There's now a public access road to the trails. There's primitive camping, outhouses, but no water. Read the first article for some info about the new road, directions, things you'll see, etc. The second link explains more about the Rangers, etc, but keep in mind that it talks about the period BEFORE the public access road was built, when you still had to hike across private land, etc.

The Mt. Yonah hike begins at the new public trailhead. The excellent new trail will take us through a rock studded forest to the Med-Evac pad. We will investigate the lowers and the boulder, then climb to the top for the rim trail and its views.

Couldn't find any specific numbers to call about the mountain, but the idea of calling the Rangers is probably not a bad idea, if the number is still good (2nd web link has the number). They could probably steer you in the right direction.
