Josh Burton

Josh grew up in "big city" Oklahoma City, spent four years in the Corps, then ended up back in his childhood passion of animation at Savannah College of Art and Design. He paid the bills till graduation running a small freelancing firm of talented artists (some of which are on this team) called New Eyes Media.He's an avid reader and loves all things animated.

Ben WIllis
Animator
Ben is originally from NH, and is a 20 year old Computer Art major at the Savannah College of Art and Design. While at school, he co-founded the first online community for SCAD students, The HIVE, and is the current Assistant Director. He has had traditional 2D art work displayed in galleries both the United States and in France. Two of his pieces were selected to be in a publication by ArtForum co-founder Arthur Secunda. His 3D animated short film "Ping" was also selected for the SPACE student competition at SIGGRAPH in 2004.

David Bokser
Animator, Rigging  
Harry Finklestein was born and raised in the mean streets of Brooklyn, NY. Harry learned animation by spray painting moving figures across dozens of Brooklyn city blocks. With the 5-0 after him, he fled to Savannah where he decided to enroll at SCAD under his current pseudonym "David Bokser." He is currently in retirement in LA and eating meat popsicles to keep his carb count low."

Jon Campbell
Houdini Master, Particles, Technical Director  
Jon is a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design studying animation and visual effects. As a hobby, he create 360 degree panoramic photographs and prints them using the latest black and white archival digital printing processes . He is from Center Harbor, NH.

Scott Englert
Modeling, Animator, Texturing, Technical Director  
Scott is a senior at SCAD to be a character animator. He enjoys doing all things dealing with computers and art as well as outdoor activities. He is from a small city in Northeast Ohio named Salem. His philosophy is “get a job you enjoy doing and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

Scott Spencer
Zbrush, Texturing  
Scott is a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design pursuing a major in Animation and a Drawing Minor. Before SCAD he worked as a crew member at the Effects House Lone Wolf Effects in Atlanta, GA and he was involved in the effects on the movies "In Dreams" and "8 Legged Freaks."
Scott's passion is for Creature and Character effects. he started sculpting at around 12 with a tattered copy of Grande Illusions by Tom Savini at my side. He took the digital leap because, well lets face it you gotta stay ahead of the game and it is just another kind of sculpting. He's been here two years and has one more to go.

William Atkin
Compositing  
William's main interest is in Visual FX involve integrating CGI with live action. He has focused his studies on researching methods for Compositing and Rendering in order to accomplish this. The process of Image based Lighting is one of these methods. You can view his thesis site for further information about his research.

Hunter Curra
Sound Design  
Every now and then Hunter takes projects from smart filmmakers who know what they want. Other times he works on other stuff. Sometimes he sleeps (not enough). Sometimes he reads (not enough). Sometimes he wishes crying babies, televisions, sirens, radios, and refrigerators would be quiet so he can hear birds and crickets.......played backwards, looped, and reverberated. Hunter is 22, and he usually needs a haircut. One time he was a baby in Houston.

Matthew Parrot
Houdini Shaders  
Following his love of nature, Matthew Parrott works towards reproducing natural patterns using the fine art of shader development. Additionally, his interests in fibers has lead to an exploration of procedural installations. In his free time, he enjoys distance running, dancing, and crystalography.Visit his site for further information about his research.
Matthew received his undergraduate degree in computer science at Virginia Tech and is currently studying visual fx.

John Austin
Sound Research  
John is a native of Charlotte , NC . John has been an editor for the past 11-years for broadcast and non-broadcast production facilities, specializing in AVID editing with After Effects and PhotoShop skills.

John's career path came early when he became fascinated with movie projectors and tape recorders. He was constantly experimenting with editing music and sound. By the age of ten he had made connections at two different movie theatres in town and learned how to operate two different types of 35mm projectors. He became a projectionist at the age of 16. At the age of 21 he was asked to become a volunteer in a TV ministry for a local church, where all the years of playing with tapes and movies came together in the form of video editing. Currently John works for NASCAR Images and freelances. He has also worked for ESPN and Inspirational Network. In 2003 he was a finalist in the national Telly Awards competition for a short movie titled "Dead Alive", in which he performed all production work, including writing, directing, editing and all audio work.
