I am painting my plain hookah that i just bought and want a cool theme to go by.?
It is a 36" tall hookah with a plain frosted glass "vase" part (pardon me, I don't know the specific names for these pieces) there is a silver shaft/parth that goes on to of the vase, there are blue hoses with brown wood ends. I want a cool theme to paint on the vase part of this hookah. I bought a plain one on purpose so I could paint it, but I am having an artist's block. Any cool ideas on what to paint?
Maybe something very Middle Eastern. Look up Islamic designs and Middle Eastern motifs on Google image search. Maybe try doing Arabic calligraphy-inspired writing on the side, such as your name, or a phrase that you admire (ex. carpe diem, etc), or song lyrics/poem. All in all, something Arabic-inspired would be the most suitable for a hookah.
